Thanks for checking out Outpost 95! With all of the changes that are taking place in the world and the speed at which those changes, the mission of Outpost 95 is to increase the your resilience and self sufficiency, through focus on fieldcraft, scouting, field medicine, and Jesus Christ.

Proverbs 22:3 ESV The prudent sees danger and hides himself, but the simple go on and suffer for it.

A little about me, I spent five years in the Navy as a Hospital Corpsman serving two tours in Iraq. The first with a 7th Marines as a Grunt Doc in a Rifle Platoon and the second with the 1st MEF CASEVAC (Casualty Evacuation) riding around in the back of CH46s. There I gained quite a bit of experience in combat trauma, remote medicine, as well as all the things that would bring a person to the local urgent care.

This medical experience was allowed to continue in the US Border Patrol were I served as an EMT on a mountain team for over a decade. There in the Border Patrol I gained even more experience doing more with less. Along the way I was able to begin instructing part-time in addition to field operations and found I really enjoyed teaching and sharing the knowledge I wished someone would have shared with me.

In 2019 I was called to Idaho to focus on a simpler life; the timing could not have been better. Now that life has settled down I am going to take the time to share the knowledge and skills I found to be useful in other outdoors activities such as: land navigation, medicine, tracking, and fieldcraft.
