There is an old quote that I would rather have an army of sheep led by a lion, than an army of lions led by a sheep. If I had to describe my experience in military, it would have the later. The Marine Corps produces lions. The officer corps for most part was concerned about how many medals they could have written themselves up for.
The big issue was there was no plan to win or even a desire at the political levels. Every officer in the military who has reenlisted begins to act like a politician if you weren’t aware.
Now let’s look at our current situation in the country. I was told about a clip recently, which had what appeared to be a Chinese national somewhere in the United States. He was talking about how were waiting on the word to start a socialist/communist takeover.
The man went on to say everyone with an American flag in their yard was to be eliminated and everyone with a Trump sign was to be targeted first because they more than likely had guns in their house. Those guns were going to be further used to arm more people.
This weekend another story broke by Cam Higby regarding the protestors signal chat. If you get a chance to read into, it shows a very high level of organization, planning, and teamwork.
In both incidents don’t know if the leader is a lion, but it sure seems they aren’t sheep. One has demonstrated organization and violence, the other appears to have a plan for it.
One thing that the followers of left-leaning ideologies have is the ability to organize. The right leaning side is too busy being independent bad asses to consider working together.
Now I can hear you now, come try that at my house. Try that in a small town. Etc. Etc. I don’t know your capabilities or theirs. I don’t know if it’s even true that a communist takeover is planned, but that is the M.O. of a communist takeover. The protestors are dancing all over the line of insurgent army, if they haven’t crossed it already. History says their low skill team will eventually beat your solo skill.
Ezekiel might have been talking about the Gog-Magog War prophecy, but as he points out the security a people who have never felt war have can very easily be shattered. This is especially true when they live a life so unprotected. We rely on the threat of police arrests and judicial prosecution to prevent dangerous people. That veneer is rapidly being stripped away. One half of the police do nothing, and the ones left are under such constant attack they are almost rendered impotent. Our current model only works when the vast majority trust the system. At this point most of the country either doesn’t trust law enforcement or they don’t trust the judiciary, some don’t trust both. This is how the mob rule has begun to take over.
None of this is a call to violence, I don’t want to see violence. The first civil war created the government our founders feared. A government overthrow likely results in a worse government, I don’t see a manmade outcome that is good for Americans and individual freedoms. I also know that those that want to end the American way of life don’t care what I want. If you aren’t preparing for entrance into your life, you are setting yourself up for failure. If it does work out for you then God is setting up an awesome testimony, because it will be his grace saving you.
Picking sides, it is posturing. They do it to us every election cycle, every time some tragedy is on the news, heck even with sports teams. There is a large part of the country that doesn’t care for the government we have now. The government in power doesn’t want to lose it. Everyone wants to divide the country, when they divide us history says we lose.
The moral of this story that seems to be all over the place, use some discernment, this doesn’t mean pick one side or the other. It means evaluating everything you see, both in isolation and as the whole. The government might not have your best in mind. It also could be said for whoever is trying to overthrow the government and put themselves in charge. There are some very threats out there, and someday they will come for innocent people that are minding their own business. God, community, situational awareness, and having your own ability to take care of yourself will be important as this unnaturally long period of peace ends.
